This is the first blog post on Late Night Counseling. This practice’s mission at the onset is to offer counseling to those who need a little more flexibility in scheduling all the things in their lives. I recognize that when someone is seeking therapy for mental health issues there are a lot of demands placed upon them: family obligations, jobs that are new or tenuous that you don’t want to be absent from, court or DHS mandates that put multiple appointments into your week, and services that all seem to want to offer the same time of day making you choose between things you need.
I’m here to help. I recognize that in order to start helping I’ve got to not be a part of the problem by piling on to your hectic schedule. To this end, I’m going to try to accommodate you by meeting you where you are in life.
